Many of us are skeptical when it comes to things like Crystal Healing. How can moving, massaging or wearing a rock on your body help in our healing? Surely it’s all related to blind faith!
Before rejecting this phenomenal healing method, please hear me out…
The concept behind the working of crystals is not as complicated as one may think… Our body is more than just the physical body. Much like an electronic device has a network of wires in it, which are operated with the help of electricity which is invisible to the naked eye, our body also has an invisible field of energy around it. Those who can see this field of energy can see that there is not only energy but it is also formed of different colors. This has also been scientifically proven from as early as 1939, though the use of technology such as Kirlian Photography.
Now, when we are healthy, both physically and emotionally, this energy field around us is balanced and works at it’s optimum. On the other hand, something as minor as a small argument with a family member can create a disturbance in this energy. When these disturbances happen repeatedly, the energy body is unable to restore it’s natural balance. Overtime these imbalances can manifest as actual diseases in the physical body. So where do crystals fit in the picture?
Well, just like the human energy field, everything; be it living or non-living, has an energy field around it. So naturally, crystals do too. Now, when a crystal is properly cleansed and charged then the energy field around it is very powerful. Just like when you come in contact with electricity, even though you cannot see it, you experience an electric shock. That is to say, electricity has a definite effect of you, physically and mentally. Similarly, the energy field of the crystal also effects you mentally and physically. But since the idea is to do good and not harm, the experience is subtle and even though you don’t experience a shock, the effect is deep and profound. Through this effect, crystals can help our bodies restore their natural balance and thus become healed in the process.
Crystals come in a variety of compositions and colors so naturally they all have different energy fields around them. So each crystal can help heal a different kind of imbalance. For example, one crystal can help you with issues of self-esteem, power and respect, another can help heal a broken heart and yet another can help keep you calm even in stressful situations.
Leo Tolstoy states in his famous novel, Anna Karenina: Happy families are all alike; every unhappy family is unhappy in its own way. On the same principle, the reason behind the imbalance in one person’s energy field is different from another. Someone maybe unhappy because of a stressful career while the other maybe in distress due to a bad marriage. One woman can be stressed about her children while another maybe stressed about her in-laws. Crystals can help you with all these problems, but only an experienced energy healer can make the best selection for you according to your particular concern. The healer can tell which part of your energy body is imbalanced and which crystal can best help heal it. They can tell you how to use the crystal, where to place it, how long to wear it and most importantly how to cleanse it regularly. Yes, the cleansing routine is very important and again it is different for different types of crystals. They can also tell you if you need healing sessions if the imbalance is deeply rooted.
