My inspiration for this post today is a dear little client of mine who came to me for an Aura and Chakra cleansing and healing session. Children are always such a joy to my heart! They can be really good teachers when it comes to making me learn new things about how to have more joy, happiness and spontaneous fun in my life.
Well, this little one was afraid of the dark as a lot of children are and he reminded me of my own fear of the dark as a child that still creeps up on me from time to time. Being clairvoyant and the owner of a wild imagination certainly isn’t helpful in that department! And although, I have several simple remedies for any kind fear known or Continue Reading »
“The optimist sees the rose and not its thorns; the pessimist stares at the thorns, oblivious to the rose” ~ Kahlil Gibran
Although, the Oxford dictionary defines “Pollyanna” as an excessively cheerful or optimistic person, I would be hesitant to dismiss a Pollyannaish attitude to be an unrealistic or undesirable quality just because of the use of the word excessive.
It all happened due to my love of revisiting childhood classics to reconnect with and revivify my inner child. I chose Pollyanna as a quick weekend read and as I started reading through it, I found myself extremely critical to the extent of triggering my gag reflex at the over optimistic beginnings of the book. It was so annoying that, I was saying “Yeah right!” super-sarcastically in my head every Continue Reading »
The relationship between a parent and child is one of the most important relationships in a person’s life, second only to one’s relationship with God in my humble opinion. In fact, the relationship that we develop to God is also somewhat dependent and based on the relationship we’ve had with our parents so I would state yet again that the relationship between a parent and a child is the most important relationship in a person’s life.
It isn’t surprising then, that in my healing practice, I have yet to come across a single client who did not have an unresolved issue with either their parents or children or both.
A child looks up to his or her parents; his or her sense of self-worth, especially in the early years, Continue Reading »
I was awestruck as I watched this video! I couldn’t help but stare in wide-eyed wonder and had that familiar “rainbows bouncing in my heart” feeling when I come across such things! I feel like a child who has witnessed or discovered something for the very first time and it dissolves a little more: the veil of illusions we get so accustomed to as adults!
I mean, I knew about people who sang to their plants but who would imagine they would sing back! This beautiful video is a tiny glimpse into the real music of nature!
The following is a translation of the Gita Saar: the Essence of the Bhagavad Gita. I have found it to be uplifting and inspirational every time I am in a chaotic situation, unsure of what to do or worried or fearful about anything. I feel as if I am being carried through on a chariot led by God through the darkness and chaos of the situation as is depicted in the picture below…
Why do you worry without cause?
Whom do you fear without reason?
Who can kill you?
The soul is neither born, nor does it die.
Whatever happened was for the good,
whatever is happening is for the good,
whatever will happen will be for the good as well.
Do not regret your past! Do not worry about Continue Reading »
Selflessness and selfishness are equally destructive. They both give too much importance to self and create separation. It doesn’t matter if you are only acting for yourself without thinking about others or if you are only acting for others without thinking about you, it is still exclusion. Exclusion of one or exclusion of others is the same, it may cause harm or discomfort or be in the favour of one or others. The whole concept of self and others is a construct of the ego. When the true nature of reality is realized and understood, selfishness and selflessness both vanish for how can one act out of any concept of self, when all there exists is Oneness. When there is no-self there are no

An Aura Reading with Henna has been a terrific experience. She is uncannily accurate at scanning chakras, reading energy imbalances and pointing out their source in events and habits. She readily makes a connection and is honest but also has a compassionate and non-judgemental manner that is quite reassuring. She has a soothing & positive presence and her insights and suggestions have really helped me make positive changes in my life. The Tarot reading was equally insightful. What is striking about Henna as a reader is her refusal to resort to any melodramatic pronouncements about the future and instead, her willingness to work patiently with the querant to get a higher perspective on underlying patterns in situations. I have found her to be a gifted reader of great integrity.
I wish her the very best! — Mita, New Delhi, India

I am just writing you to say “Thanks” for helping me deal with certain problem in my life through the use of flower remedies. My inner self has been calmer and happier since taking them. Creating a space of trust and warmth, Henna Datta is intuitive and generous but also open-minded and direct: she is an exceptional soul who brings light and purpose to the practice of spiritual guidance. No one person can give you the answers to the questions you seek—for me, like many others, I am endeavouring to accept that is a journey for each of us, on our own. Meeting Henna, her extraordinary gift was her guidance in helping me to understand and recognise the questions I was, in fact, trying to obscure or ignore but needed to accept. I am writing this after reflecting on our time together and the deep awareness and profound healing that her counsel offered me and if you find yourself reading this then I would say that if you are feeling drawn towards her guidance then trust that instinct. Henna doesn’t mince words but she is an absolute joy and she has mastered the art of kind delivery, and, importantly, she has dedicated herself to helping others and she does that with true beauty and grace. Namaste. — Alexandra, Sydney, Australia
